Terms of Use

The agreement between you and Atlant Ventures Pte. Ltd. for using moni. Please read it: by downloading or using moni, you accept these terms.

Last updated: October 16, 2026

1. The agreement

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legally binding agreement between you and Atlant Ventures Pte. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore (“we”, “us”), for the moni app for iPhone and related services (“moni”). Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information and forms part of these Terms.

You must be old enough to enter into a binding contract where you live, or use moni with the permission of a parent or guardian. If you don’t agree to these Terms, don’t use moni.

2. Your licence to use moni

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use moni on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. moni is licensed, not sold. We and our licensors keep all rights not expressly granted to you.

3. Free trial, plans and payments

Free trial

moni Try and moni Use start with a free trial, as described in the app (currently 3 months), once per Apple Account. You start it in moni after setup and confirm it with Apple. When the trial ends, the subscription renews automatically at the price shown, unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the trial ends in your device’s Settings. moni reminds you 3 days before the first payment. moni Forever has no free trial. Your data is never deleted because a trial or a plan has ended, and you can always export it while you have moni installed on your device.

Plans

  • moni Try, a monthly subscription;
  • moni Use, a yearly subscription;
  • moni Forever, a one-time purchase that gives access to moni for as long as we offer it and support your device. “Forever” is the plan’s name: you pay once and it never renews. It doesn’t mean that moni will be offered for an unlimited time (see sections 10 and 12).

Each plan includes the features described in the app at the time of purchase. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you pay and may vary by country.

Payments, renewal and cancellation

  • All purchases are made and processed by Apple through your Apple Account, under Apple’s terms. We don’t receive or store your payment details.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends, unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before then.
  • You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your device’s Settings, under your Apple Account and Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • If you buy moni Forever while a subscription is active, Apple doesn’t cancel the subscription automatically. Please cancel it in Settings to avoid further charges.
  • We may change subscription prices. Apple will notify you in advance as its rules require, and where the law or Apple requires your consent, the new price won’t apply until you agree.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies, at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can’t issue refunds ourselves. If a purchase is refunded, access provided by it ends. Nothing in these Terms limits any right to a refund you have under the consumer law of your country.

4. Not financial advice

moni is a tool for recording and viewing your own money. Its figures, charts, budgets, the Budgetometr, investment values and profit, and any suggestions are for information only. moni does not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting or legal advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any currency, cryptocurrency or other asset. You are responsible for your financial decisions and for checking important figures against your bank and official records.

5. Exchange rates and prices

Exchange rates, crypto prices and their history come from third-party providers. They are reference values: they may be delayed, incomplete or different from the rates your bank, card or exchange applies, and they may be unavailable at times. Totals converted into another currency are estimates. Third-party data is provided as is, and we are not responsible for its accuracy or availability.

6. Receipt scanning

  • Receipt scanning is optional and uses an AI partner, as described in our Privacy Policy. It is available only in some countries and requires an internet connection.
  • Automated reading can make mistakes. moni shows you the result before saving it, and you are responsible for checking it.
  • Each plan includes a number of scans, shown in the app (for example, a monthly limit on paid plans). Unused scans don’t carry over.
  • We may limit, change, suspend or stop the feature, for example if our partner becomes unavailable, to prevent abuse, or where the law requires it.

7. Your data and backups

Your content belongs to you. It is stored on your device (and in your own iCloud, if you turn on sync), not on our servers. This means we cannot access, recover or restore it. You are responsible for keeping a copy: turn on iCloud sync (on paid plans), which keeps your data in your own iCloud, always up to date, or export a moni backup file yourself from time to time. We are not responsible for data lost because a device was lost, damaged, reset or replaced, or because the app was deleted.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • copy, modify, distribute, sell or rent moni, or create works based on it;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or try to extract the source code of moni, except where the law expressly allows it;
  • bypass or interfere with plans, limits, security or the receipt scanning service, or use them in a way that overloads them;
  • use moni for anything unlawful, including money laundering, fraud or breaching sanctions.

9. Intellectual property

moni, including its software, design, icons, text and the name and logo “moni”, belongs to Atlant Ventures Pte. Ltd. or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Third-party names and marks, such as Apple, App Store, iPhone and iCloud, belong to their owners. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them freely and without obligation to you.

10. Changes to moni and its availability

We work to make moni better and may add, change or remove features. We will try not to take away features you rely on, but we can’t guarantee that every feature will always be available. moni requires a supported version of iOS; older devices may stop receiving updates.

If we ever decide to stop offering moni, we will tell you in the app at least 90 days in advance, where we can. moni and your data live on your device, so a copy of moni already installed there keeps working without us; features that rely on our services or providers, such as receipt scanning and exchange rates, may stop. You can export your data at any time while moni is on your device.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, moni is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that moni will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that its calculations, conversions or scanned results will be accurate.

Some countries don’t allow certain warranties to be excluded, so some of the above may not apply to you. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Atlant Ventures Pte. Ltd., its directors, employees and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or savings, or financial losses arising from decisions made using moni, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim relating to moni is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for moni in the 12 months before the claim and 50 US dollars.

Events beyond our control. We are not responsible for any failure or delay, or for any loss of access to moni or to a plan, including moni Forever, caused by events beyond our reasonable control. These include: Apple removing moni from the App Store, or the App Store, in-app purchases or iCloud no longer being available in your country; sanctions, export controls, embargoes, or laws and orders of authorities that prevent us or Apple from providing moni to you; war, civil unrest, natural disasters or epidemics; and outages or changes of the internet, Apple or other third-party services that moni relies on. In such cases we have no obligation to refund you, but this doesn’t affect your rights under consumer law.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

13. Termination

You can stop using moni at any time by deleting it; manage or cancel subscriptions in your device’s Settings. Your licence ends automatically if you materially break these Terms. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as 4, 5 and 7 to 16, survive termination.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have jurisdiction over disputes about them. Before going to court, please contact us: most problems can be solved by email. If you are a consumer living in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another country whose law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your own courts or to rely on mandatory local consumer protections, these Terms don’t take those rights away.

15. Terms required by Apple

Because you get moni from Apple’s App Store, you and we also agree that:

  1. Acknowledgement. These Terms are between you and Atlant Ventures Pte. Ltd. only, not with Apple Inc. (“Apple”). We, not Apple, are solely responsible for moni and its content.
  2. Scope of licence. The licence in section 2 is limited to using moni on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that moni may be accessed by other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing where offered.
  3. Maintenance and support. We are solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for moni, as described in these Terms and on our Support page. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for moni.
  4. Warranty. We are solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. If moni fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of moni to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to moni, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility, to the extent not disclaimed in these Terms.
  5. Product claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to moni or your possession or use of it, including product liability claims, claims that moni fails to conform to any legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
  6. Intellectual property. If a third party claims that moni or your possession and use of it infringes that third party’s intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
  7. Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  8. Developer contact. Questions, complaints or claims about moni should be sent to Atlant Ventures Pte. Ltd., Singapore, at support@moniapp.site.
  9. Third-party terms. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using moni, such as your mobile carrier’s or internet provider’s terms.
  10. Third-party beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Once you accept them, Apple has the right, and will be deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

16. General

  • Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new date and, if the changes are significant, tell you in the app. Continuing to use moni after that means you accept the updated Terms.
  • Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about moni.
  • Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
  • No waiver. If we don’t enforce a right, we haven’t waived it.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer these Terms. We may transfer them, for example as part of a sale of moni, and will tell you if we do.
  • Language. These Terms are written in English. If they are translated, the English version prevails, unless the law requires otherwise.
